Grants Planning

We help set fundraising goals aligned with your mission and strategic objectives, using SMART Goals. Strategic Planning steps include:

  • Grants Needs Assessment: Through one-on-one meetings over one to three months, we learn about your projects, goals, and needs, uncovering fundable ideas and assessing grant readiness.
  • Target Funders: Using our databases and AI tools, we find opportunities that match your projects and create a grants application calendar.
  • Build Relationships: We teach engagement rules with funders and reach out on your behalf to ensure project fit.

Testimonials

I highly recommend WISSEN to other non-profits. Our experience with them has been incredibly positive. They provided invaluable insights into the framework for foundation and federal grants, which significantly enhanced our understanding of the process.

Their team was extraordinarily patient, guiding us every step of the way and ensuring that we stayed on task and on schedule. Their expertise not only helped us navigate the complexities of grant writing but also boosted our confidence in seeking funding.

-- Lissa Ballinger, Executive Director, The Resnick Center for Herber Bayer Studies

I have had success with applying for grants, including NEH programs. WISSEN helped me nevertheless to remember the fundamentals of grant writing. The workshop has also motivated me to jump back into searching for grant programs and writing grant applications despite the challenging funding environment we currently face in the humanities and social sciences.

-- Dr. Loren Lybarger, Ohio University

WISSEN's presentation, "Getting It Write: Best Practices for Evaluators When Working with Grant Writers," was both practical and enlightening. It clearly outlined what to expect from a grant writer and helped demystify their role in the grant development process. The session offered valuable guidance on how evaluators can extract critical information from grant application texts, translate prompts into logic models, and support the creation of SMART outcomes. Natasha and her staff offered clear examples and actionable tips, making it a valuable resource for both new and experienced evaluators. I highly recommend WISSEN for both training and grant writing services.

--Dr. Ciara C. Knight, Evaluator
